Project Overview
T he government needed a large-scale, fraud-proof street vendor survey system to identify genuine vendors, capture their details, assign IDs, and map their real locations for licensing and policy benefits.
Thousands of field employees were deployed across cities to collect vendor information in real time.
Challenges
- Duplicate and fake surveys were common due to manual data entry.
- No reliable way to verify whether the employee actually visited the vendor on-ground.
- Need to capture thumb impression biometrics of every vendor to prevent double entries.
- Survey monitoring required real-time visibility at the administrative level.
